So why would one use soy based bath and body products?

Soy based skin care products even out skin tone, can correct pigmentation, softens and smoothes skin texture, and moisturizes too.  The proteins, amino acids, and lipids found in this bean allow for rapid hydration and cell regeneration by reversing abnormal cell formations while moisturizing and protects the cells without clogging them. How is all this possible you ask?  Well, soybean oil has a small molecular structure.  This allows the molecules to nestle into the epidermis (the top layer of your skin) and unlike other oils that sit on top of your skin, and actually stimulates the synthesis of collagen, elastin, and other proteins.

 

Soy contains phytoestrogens (plant estrogens), that help your skin cells rejuvenate, Vitamin E which promotes healing and regeneration, essentially fatty acids that moisturize the collagen below the skins surface, and lecithin that helps maintain skins elasticity - smoothing fine lines and preventing premature aging; which are all beneficial when applied directly to the skin.  Plant estrogen will not go into your blood stream and even though the molecular structure of soy is smaller than other oils, the soy cannot get into the blood stream due to the two protective skin layers under the epidermis.
